Adding & finishing tasks

Tap any open area of the board to create a task. Drag task bubbles around to arrange your board. Press and hold a bubble to pop it when the task is done.

Popplo Pro

Free keeps a few tasks on the board. Popplo Pro unlocks unlimited tasks and extra bubble colors. You can subscribe from Settings, or when you reach the free task limit.

Restoring a purchase

Open Settings in Popplo and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure your device is signed in with the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase.

Managing or cancelling a subscription

Apple manages App Store subscriptions. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then choose Subscriptions and select Popplo to change or cancel your plan.

Resetting the board

Use the reset control in Popplo to clear the current board. Removing the app also removes locally stored tasks and preferences from that device.

Popplo does not require an account, does not track you, and does not sell personal data. Your tasks and preferences live on your device.

What stays on your device

The tasks you create and your preferences (such as your chosen character, sound and motion settings) are stored locally on your device. This information is not collected by us and is not sent to our servers. Deleting the app removes it from that device.

Device motion

Popplo uses your device's motion sensor to let your task bubbles roll as you tilt your phone and to gently move the on-screen character. You can turn this off in Settings → motion effects. This happens entirely on your device and is never collected or stored.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, Popplo can send optional local reminders: a daily nudge when tasks are waiting, and one if you haven't opened the app for a couple of days. They are scheduled on your device. There is no push server and nothing is sent to us. Turn them off anytime in Popplo's Settings or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Popplo.

Home Screen widget

If you add the Popplo widget, a copy of up to 8 of your tasks and your chosen character is kept in a shared container on your device (an App Group) so the widget can show them. When you pop a task from the widget, its ID is stored there until the app removes it. This data never leaves your device. Task text is visible on your Home Screen.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and validate purchases; in doing so, purchase and device information may be processed to deliver and restore your Popplo Pro entitlement. This information is used only to provide the purchase and is not linked to your identity by us.

No tracking or ads

Popplo contains no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking across apps or websites.

Children

Popplo is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
